what Do you think about this?
Your troops capture a town, if you have not a garisson unit there, you loss the town after 3-4 turns.

Garisson units as core units, with very low values and not change for an upgrade.

Losing a town because of a lack of a garrison troop, i cannot fathom that in the mechanics of Panzer Corps.
Partizans will be much more prominent in the Ostfeldzug than in GTPG 1.

Scenario update:

Spanish Civil War: 2 scenarios (possibly 3); all new scenarios/maps
Case White: 3 scenarios; all new scenarios/maps; this means that the "unrealistic" Westerplatte scenario has been scrapped in GTPG 2.
Operation Weserübung: 1 scenario; changed quite a number of things in comparison to the GTPG 1 Weserübung scenario. Scenarios Narvik and Sweden have been scrapped in GTPG 2. This doesn't necessarily mean that i won't add a Sweden scenario in a future update.

These scenarios should add plenty of XP and kills to your initial core army. This army should be well prepared at the beginning of Case Yellow.

Case Yellow: choice between the new map of The Netherlands (small engagement) and the Benelux (large engagement). The GTPG 1 map for Belgium has been replaced by the bigger Belgium-The Netherlands-Luxemburg map.
Operation Dynamo (Dunkirk) if you perform well in the Case Yellow scenario.

Case Red: 1 scenario, several changes in comparison to the GTPG 1 Case Red scenario. Finish this scenario in true Blitzkrieg style and you will be rewarded with Operation Sea Lion. This will be a future GTPG 2 add-on.

Hello Nico!

With playing the SE Version of the GTPG mod, I like the "Support Events" like that: If I reach an mission target, I get support troops like ... XX. Panzerdivision ... or so, with an message:

"You are reaching the mission target XYZ with an outstanding speed and success. But, be aware, massive enemy forces are in front of you. Thats why the headquarter sends the XX.Panzerdivision to your front line..."

Development update:

I made a flowchart as a working guide and it consists of 80+ scenarios (GTPG 1 has 71 scenarios). This guide also includes scenarios that will be given as GTPG 2 updates.
On the basis of this flowchart, i have a far better comprehension how to write the campaign file. Once the campaign file is written, i can work on the scenarios for the release version.

The release version of GTPG 2 will contain most likely 37 scenarios. The classic 1940 and 1941 scenarios, scenarios at the Eastern Front and then historically all the way back to Berlin.

I decided to create a custom equipment file for this campaign. Sofar there are 500+ custom units in the database. Puma donated some very nice Swiss unit icons for the project :)

There are a lot more units out there, but i am very selective.
