I need help!

After unzip I don't see a folder with the name "Italy Korps" or so. I layed the whole package called "Panzer Corps" in the .../my games/slitherine/mods folder but don't see anything in the start mask under "more campaigns" like the other campaigns Roma Victor, GTPG or other stuff. It's also interesting, that the new campaign stuff has not included an "Guid" file. Is that the problem?

It was written in the first post of this thread

1) Back-up the Panzer Corps/Data folder before proceeding
2) Extract the rar file in either
\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\
for the Steam version of Afrika Korps
OR
\Slitherine\ (or wherever you have installed Panzer Corps)
for the non-Steam version of Afrika Korps
3) Start the game, chose Afrika Korps and start playing Italy Corps, the 9 scenario campaign prior to the Afrika Korps campaign.

Ah, a nice slap behind my head ... and now starts the Italy Corps!

I've copied the stuff directly into the Slitherine path, start the main program and press simply "Play".

Now it's fine - thank you Nico for your help!

Hallo zusammen ,
Was mich ein wenig irritierte, war die Tatsache, dass ich Italy Corps auswählen sollte; prinzipiell reicht es völlig, die Dateien wie beschrieben einzubauen und danach Afrika Corps zu starten.
Nichtsdestotrotz funktioniert das ganze prima; noch den erweiterten Einheitenpool der Italiener via GME dazugeladen und schon kann es losgehen. Danke, Nico.
Achtung!:
Das mit dem Datensichern sollte man auf jeden Fall machen; insbesondere wenn man im Besitz von Allied Corps ist. Damit AC nicht durch die Installation abgeschossen wird, müssen die Originaldateien ins entsprechende Expansion-Verzeichnis kopiert werden. Legt man dort noch die entsprechende Verzeichnisstruktur an, funktioniert das sogar mit der von mir gemachten Übersetzung.
Wenn man dies beherzigt, dann kann beides ohne Probleme gespielt werden.

Ich war erst irritiert, weil ich nach dem Download nach 'Italy Corps' gesucht habe. Das sieht man nur auf den ersten Rundeninfomasken. Ansonsten schon eine coole Idee, etwas vor die Hauptkampagne zu schalten!

Damit ist natürlich der GME-Part von "Roma Victor" oder "Italia Victor" gemeint. Denn die Standardausstattung ist ... nun ja ... mehr als überschaubar.

Genau, im Original gibt es nur wenige italienische Truppentypen. Bei Italia Victor! gibt es sehr viel mehr (aber keine SE Einheiten). Bei Roma Victor! gibt es sogar einige SE Einheitentypen (aber ohne eigenständige Bilder).
Italy Corps habe ich mir noch nicht angesehen; da es der gleiche Autor ist, wird es sich vermutlich an Roma Victor! 2 orientieren.

Das war eine ausgezeichnete Idee, die Italiener dahin gehend aufzupeppen, damit sie konkurrenzfähig sind, sobald die Hauptkampagne von Afrika Corps startet.

Exactly. You will be able to deploy some of your Italian units and they will be joined by German units.

I played the first two scenarios and in the second, there is a light misunderstanding...


Nice map and the british troops comes slowly ... but the following massages (round 8/12) are strange:

After finish the 2. scenario comes this:

I hold all of my strong points (round 12/12), but couldn't reach a decisive victory - thats why the military leaders are not satisfied...?
