Hello to all the community here...
I am visiting the English language section because I can hardly understant German language (only a few words)...


My problem is that I could register myself without problem in this website, but everytime I try to download the Ostfront v4 mod file (550 MB file ) the process gets interrupted. I never managed to download more than 150 Mb approx.
Any ideas or help? I am from Argentina, and I know some file storage services have problems with some users countries of residence... I don't know if this is the reason...

If they cant fix it, the same game Ostfront is also available for download under the design mod project.de link, a former partner.

But, we are the guys with the Ostfront expertise and tipps.

Hi!

How long did your download run until it interrupts? Not how many Megabytes you made, the time it runs?

I think we will find a solution for your problem.

Gerhard - ich glaube es ist so wie bei mir damals,

habe fast ne Stunde gebraucht für die 550MB und nach 15-20 Minuten schaltete der Download immer ab und ich hatte erst 150MB auf der Platte.

Ich dachte Ihr hättet die Schwelle damals höher gelegt. Ne Stunde wäre ausreichend. Nutzt ja nicht jeder aus.

We pushed the maximum downloadtime from 25 minutes up to 60 minutes, before the download quits.

I got a 2000 MB/sec line and needed about 50 minutes for the complete "Ostfront".

I'm having the same issue but the download seems to timeout after about 20 minutes or so. Looks to be a great add-on, if only it would complete.

Hey Max,

I got the same problems downloading the file. "Design Mod Project" has the same Download. Please try it there and see you back here.

Hello everyone,

I do not know if this section is still alive but I'll try,

I discovered the game few days ago on steam, I used to play panzer general back in the day, I do not know how I missed this so long...

Anyway, I got the ALL package and then found you guys and the DMP mod, OSTFRONT, AFRICA CORPS, PACIFIC etc...

panzercorps DMP and Pacific works fine,

However I have a problem with the OSTFRONT and AFRICACORP mod, there is no music on both, sound works but infantry's sound is very weird.

I tried to look through your post in german with google translate but I cannot use the "cheat" /nocache as there is no shortcut of Panzercorps that you can tweak.

Do anyone has any ideas, that would be great as the vanilla game is so nice + DMP so cool but I am dying to kick some soviet ass with OSTFRONT as well as some rosbeef with Africa...

I informed Gerhard weeks ago, per PN, about your problems, but I think he didn't answer yet.

At Eastfront my sound is perfect, Infanterie is marching and shooting well.
Music can be activatet with the menue and accepted with OK. But that music nerves after several minutes.
At our Africa-Corps its the same, Musik is OK and Infanterie got their "boots are made for walking" sound.

I got Music Off and Sound at full power at that menue.

Hab das selbe Problem mit den Einheiten-Sounds beim Ostfront Mod/ I have the same Problem with the Unit-Sounds of the Eastern Front Mod.

At the Ostfront\Audio directory are sound files \AttackSfx\ or \MoveSfx\ with several .wav files.
Did they sound normal if you click on them an hear the sound on your sound-system?
If they didn't you might have a problem with your sound-system.

hmm i have hear all MoveSfx ´s files and all normal. I dont thing its on me Sound System. Not all but i think i see the reasen what that is so! I have in the MoveSFX no file for the Infantery. Can you send me all MoveSfx and AttackSfx ?
