    First try....

    Dv in round 10, too carefull.
    I can not buy any unit, but i have money and one core-slot free. Message: "Not enough slots". Same in pskov, 4 free slots, no unit to buy.
    The northern Artillery has no truck and no city to upgrade. its only for first breaktrough, i think.

    Its funny, i want more! prostataaaaa...

    Hey Ramon,

    Latest files are in the dropbox. You will have to start the campaign again, i filled in the wrong country code in the campaign.pzdat; that's why you could buy any units. I made a few more minor tweaks to Lvov, and now you should be able to fill the additional core slot. Pskov is ready for testing. Here you can already receive your first SE unit (it works 100%).

    Thank you. I knew knew the status of the pskov-scene, but i only wanted to check, if its stalins choice, not to allow using fresh troops for poland.
    All worked fine. I got no SE-unit, but when should i get it? Before Lvov starts? tryed 4 times. Before Pskov starts? Tryed 5 times 8i know, its not ready for testing yet.)

    In the Lvov-Scenario i managed a DV in round 11, round was 10 possible. I lost the recon, it was sent in a suicide mission (i needed the slot for AA unit instandly). But i will replay and sell it,

    On which difficulty level are you playing?
    I'm playing on Col level, AI on 2, reform units off

    In Lvov i bought a Pe-2. I only took the last VH after killing all the enemy units, for experience reasons.
    In Pskov i bought an 85mm AA unit, as they are efficient for AA and AT purpose. I upgraded my BT-5 to a T-34 and bought a KV-1A. The other units were brought back to 10 str, i had no PP left. In this mission i received my first hero (tweaked gamerules file) for my T-34 (+2 A). The SE unit i received (infantry) was quickly blown to bits. I had a sweat for the MV, a DV is and should be nearly impossible. The first hero should come rather fast as it is the same for the other AG: The British in North Africa.
    The next scenario i'll prep for us is Leningrad (<- MV Pskov).

    I plan to play nearly all maps to a MV first, taking the long path. I did not bought a bomber, because i expect strong german airforce in this campaign.
    And that will be expensive to keep them alive.
    Ah, i play on colonel, rules 1.20, game patched to 1.21, no further changes in the game - options, FoW on (I will never ever play the stupid FoW off-mode :D !)

    For AA and AT mode, i bought the 2nd 85mm AA.
    I had a look to Pskov, and the german steamroller is running. I will try to optimize the Lvov-outcome for better prestige saving.

    Is an early T-34 usefull? I think its very weak against Stuka and PIII J. I will try to have 2 KV1 in my core.

    My T-34 survived thanks to the backup of 122mm artillery + 85mm AA gun and received its first hero (+2 A) in the process. The first missions against the Germans are defensive missions, so i like to nurture a couple of T-34's with solid assistance before the offensive missions begin. The BT-7 will become another T-34 in Leningrad.

    The option exists in Pskov to vacate core units, which i did for my PE-2 after beating the crap out of Opel Blitz trucks.

    Pskov: MV. You are right, destroying 35 german units is impossible. I Lost no core-unit, i evacuated wounded infantery. And i got my first SE-unit at the beginning, a engineer! Nice!

    But the SE-engineers can not get a truck, in Leningrad i got teh sceond SE: an engineer!!! Without truck, no possibility to aigne a truck. :( :D
    The most powerfull unti is the 85AA and the KV1, as expected.

    I was able to redeploy evacuated troops in germanys back, out of sight. In round 7 i did so, refreshed them in round 8 and destroyed a artillery from behind and the city of Opochka was retaken in round 9, harhahrhar!
    The occupied airfield from round 5 (an aux-BT-breaktrough) was never retaken by germans, his Stuka and Me109 ran out of ammo and fuel and used the long way.
    I got 2 Heros, one for KV and one Infantery, both + attack (one and two), but no hero-pics.

    A hard but winable match if the player is happy with a MV, i do!

    Update: after reloading the last pskov-map, i got a second SE: KV1 for Leningrad. I prefer this savegame.

    Oh yea, dear Niko. I remember your first missions for russia, 2 (?) years ago. With the maginificant 122 mm selfpropelled tractor-howitzer, never implemted in orginal PC. Very Nice Introscreen, Red Fury, long time ago...

    Leningrad done, MV, one fighter lost. I did not expected that germany buys new fighter. The Mission is not easy, but in the end i retook 2 VHs. Next heros are welcome in my core, one most powerfull +1 range for an 85mm AA. Great!
    The germans wasted a lot of money in buying 150mm Artillery an paused them near Pskov. My strategy: Panzers and bombers first seems to be correct...

    The money is well balanced, less will be a problem. Nothing to change (the heavy cruiser has one hex too less range to assist with full power, but its okay for players western front).

    Since it was voted for a bit but not excessive tweak of the original, i scripted two additional planes to appear for the Axis. They also receive a prestige dump.

    The Moscow scenario is another defensive challenge. I added a Il-2 Shturmovik prototype and scripted Siberian reinforcements ;). Still, i believe it is not a walk in the park. I hope to have it done tomorrow. Like present, the weather is going to be cold. I pray for the weather condition to be correct, so that i can use my planes and bombers without fear of an Axis strafe run.

    The issue with the SE truck is also resolved.
